Behind the Kitchen

From Ammana Mane Oota to House of Sindhu: Our Story

5 min read

Our journey began in home kitchens and catering orders — cooking for hospitals, preschools, children, expecting mothers, families, small gatherings and corporate customers.

In June 2022, that work took a name: Ammana Mane Oota, homestyle food prepared the way it would be at a mother's home.

Over the years, one pattern kept returning. Customers asked for lighter, grain-forward, less processed food that still tasted familiar.

In September 2026, we entered a new chapter as House of Sindhu – The Organic Kitchen, with a stronger focus on millets, wholesome ingredients and traditional food wisdom, delivered with modern convenience.

House of Sindhu provides food services and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Customers with medical conditions should follow the advice of their qualified healthcare professional.
