About House of Sindhu

Rooted in Tradition. Made for Modern Life.

An organic and millet-focused cloud kitchen in Bengaluru, built on more than five years of food-service and catering experience.

Our story

From Ammana Mane Oota to House of Sindhu

A journey from homestyle catering to mindful millet nourishment.

House of Sindhu carries forward more than five years of food-service and catering experience. It began the way most Indian food stories begin — in a home kitchen, cooking for people who needed a proper, freshly made meal.

In June 2022, that work took a name: Ammana Mane Oota. Over the following years the team cooked for hospitals, preschools, children, expecting mothers, families, small gatherings, corporate customers and catering orders of many sizes. Each of those kitchens taught something different about portioning, hygiene, consistency and taste.

Through it all, one request kept returning. Customers wanted food that felt lighter and more wholesome, without losing the flavours they grew up with. That interest led the team back to traditional grains — the millets that were once everyday staples across Karnataka.

In September 2026, the business entered a new chapter as House of Sindhu – The Organic Kitchen, with a stronger focus on millet-based food, wholesome ingredients, traditional Indian food wisdom and modern-day convenience. The name changed. The care did not.
